Housing in London annual report

The annual ‘Housing in London’ report sets out the evidence base for the Mayor’s housing policies, summarising key patterns and trends across a wide range of topics relevant to housing in the capital. The report informs the development of the Mayor’s London Housing Strategy, the latest edition of which was published in May 2018.

The most recent Housing in London report was published in July 2018, and the 2019 edition is due to be published in September 2019. Past editions of the report back to 2011 and their accompanying datasets can be found on the Datastore here.

Housing in London 2018 is divided into nine sections, including six core thematic chapters:
