To request access to the data please contact the the High Street Data Service team – please note the data is currently only available to officers in London Boroughs which have joined the data partnership.
If your borough has not yet joined the partnership and is interested, please contact Julia Thomson.

1. Which boroughs are members of the data partnership?
- Hammersmith and Fulham
- Kensington and Chelsea
- Kingston upon Thames
- Richmond upon Thames
2. How can I access the data?
Only boroughs that are subscribing members of the Data Partnership have access to the private datasets post May 2021, as well as the London High Streets Explorer tool.
If you work at a London borough please create a log-in to the London Datastore using your @londonborough email address.
Once you have created a log-in please email email@example.com to be granted access.
3. I’m from a borough and having trouble accessing the high streets data, can you assist?
Make sure you are logged into the Datastore – top right, make sure you use your @londonborough email address.
You will only be able to access the data that the GLA has given you permission for, if you are getting an error message when trying to access the private data (including Mastercard or O2 data) please contact us to ensure you have the right permissions.
You might also want to try to logging in using Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. If issues persist contact firstname.lastname@example.org
4. Can my team have a shared login, for example email@example.com?
Yes, we can grant access to a shared account provided it’s on your borough’s email domain and is only accessed by officers from your borough. Please register the account on the Datastore as usual and then email us so we can grant you permission.
