London Output Area Classification

An open source demographic classification based on 2021 Census developed by the Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC) based at University College London in collaboration with CIS members. It was published by the CDRC in October 2023. Data are also available on the datastore.

The 2011 London OAC is also available. For 2011, we also produced a classification of London Workplace Zones. It is unlikely that 2021 workplace data will be of sufficient quality to allow for a similar classification this time round.
