It is responsible for collecting and publishing statistics related to the economy, population and society at national, regional and local levels. ONS plays a leading role in national and international good practice in the production of official statistics.

Data for Local authority districts in England and Wales (2021 boundaries) and national data for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Data has been compiled from ONS, NRS and NISRA outputs. This is an rds file for use with R and RStudio. This is a large file (19Mb).
