Opinions of Londoners are at the heart of policy making at the Greater London Authority (GLA). City Hall conducts regular research with Londoners to provide evidence and insight into public opinion and behaviours, in order to support effective and impactful policy making and the development of strategies and programmes of work.

These pages detail the latest research conducted by the GLA on public attitudes and behaviours in relation to the cost of living in 2022.

All figures, unless otherwise stated, are from YouGov Plc on behalf of the GLA. The surveys were carried out online. The figures have been weighted and are representative of all London adults (aged 18+).

This report highlights key findings from our cost of living polling between January 2022 and January 2023
