School Rolls Projection Service

London’s booming population has led to a rising demand for school places across much of the city.

To help school place planners the GLA’s School Roll Projection Service offer projections of the number of pupils who will attend schools in the future.

We also provide further analysis for school place planners :

  • data and analysis of cross-border pupil mobility
  • tools showing trends in migration of school age children
  • birth and fertility data and analysis

Most of this work is produced under contract to local authority subscribers, but we also provide information for the public. The London Schools Atlas and small area population projections can be used by parents and free school groups, for example.
