Food Strategy Indicators

This webpage presents the indicators for the Mayor of London’s Food Strategy. The Mayor’s Food Strategy sets out his plans to help all Londoners access healthy, affordable and sustainable food – regardless of their background and circumstances. The Mayor has been working closely with the London Food Board and other partners to develop the strategy and ensure it can help deliver a fairer food system.

The Implementation Plan sets out the actions that the Mayor will take between 2018 and 2023 to help to implement the priorities set out in the London Food Strategy. Additionally, the Implementation Plan includes a framework of indicators to monitor progress under six key Strategy settings.

The indicators for each setting are set out below together with links to available baseline data. For some of the indicators baseline data will become available at a later date (including baseline data on food security from the Survey of Londoners, which will be published in Spring 2019).
