The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) supplied the GLA with this data on the number of school children by year group in households on Universal Credit following an FOI request. The data is for November 2025, and is provided by Parliamentary Constituency, Local Authority and Region.
This dataset provides an update DWP's ad-hoc data publication from June 2025, as part of analysis on Free School Meal expansion, with data on school children by year group in households on Universal Credit in November 2024.
