This report presents the findings of an exploratory qualitative research project carried out with children and families living in insecure private rented sector accommodation.

The aims of the research were to understand the impact of living in the private rented sector on a range of areas of children's lives, including education, health and their sense of security.

The findings of this project were used by the GLA Housing Team in developing policies to reform the private rented sector.
