Welcome to the Datastore
The London Datastore is a free and open data-sharing portal where anyone can access data relating to the capital. Whether you're a citizen, business owner, researcher or developer, the site provides over a thousand datasets to help you understand the city and develop solutions to London's problems. Please do have a look around, and let us know what you think.
Launch of the Data for London Library
In 2025 we launched the beta Data for London Library, to help you find city data quickly. It provides links to thousands more datasets, with a powerful new search across several of London's data sources. All London Datastore data is searchable through the Data for London Library, alongside data from several boroughs and delivery partners. We intend on increasing the number of discoverable datasets in the Data for London Library over time.
It's the first module of the Mayor of London's Data for London programme, which is planning to build further modules that make it simpler for people to share and use data held across London to improve the city and benefit Londoners. While further modules are developed, the London Datastore will remain, as ever, a trusted data resource for you to use.
We're committed to keeping you informed at every step of the way. You're at the heart of this journey to make data sharing easier - so let's move forward together! We invite you to take these four actions:
- Visit the Data for London Library.
- Sign up to be part of our Data for London user research pool in the future.
- Follow us on LinkedIn and BlueSky.
- Sign up to our data newsletter.
