MARCH 2012 Employment and Skills
I was wondering if it is possible to find average salary figures for individual areas within the London City, subdivided for different industrial sector.
I am a Masters student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I am looking into studying agglomeration economic effects of High Speed Rail implementation and was hoping I could measure changes in productivity (using salary) in areas new high speed rail. My two specific methodologies will attempt to divide the effects for different sectors, as well as to see how the effects vary with distance from the high speed rail station itself.

Please can we have access to the raw data at the lowest possible level of all (some would be good) the residents survey's that have been carried out over the years across London. I would very much appreciate access to this data so I would be able to counter the wonderful and often wildly manipulated headlines I get on how much 'performance' is improving. It's surprising how inaccurate their conclusions are sometimes (although I could be wrong). Also there may be academic value in allowing 'many eyes' to explore the data to perhaps come to some less biased conclusions. Apologies if this has already been suggested or if it's out there already. I did have a quick trawl.

It would be very useful if there was stats regarding ex-offender, and the count of education and employment.
