This table shows the numbers and percentages of the resident population by each housing tenure category, including, owned outright, being bought with mortgage or loan, or rented from Local Authority, Housing Association or private landlord.

Other Rented includes renting from employing organisation, another organisation, relative of household member and individual employer.
Numbers are rounded to the nearest thousand.
Percentages were calculated on unrounded numbers and then rounded to the nearest whole percent.
Sample for the City of London is too low to provide any data.
The Annual Population Survey is a sample survey and therefore numbers and percentages at borough level are indicative only.
