Crime Counts and Rates, National Police Force Area (Rolling 12 Month Data)
JANUARY 2012 Crime and Community Safety
This dataset has now been updated to include the data released in January 2012 which covers October 2010-September 2011.
Using the January 2012 Home Office quarterly release of England and Wales Police Force Area Crime counts (covering Oct10-Sep11) the following categories have been calculated:
· Violence against the Person
· Violence against the Person - with Injury
· Violence against the Person - without Injury
· Sexual Offences
· Robbery
· Burglary
· Burglary - in a Dwelling
· Burglary - not in a Dwelling
· Theft - vehicle related
· Theft - other
· Fraud and Forgery
· Criminal Damage
· Drugs offences
· Other offences
The Counts and Rates for each force, changes since the last release (covering Jul10-Jun11), and historic trends back to 2008 can be visualised using the below Instant Atlas tool, or downloaded in Excel format.
