I have noticed an increasing number of cyclist on the roads and pedestrian areas this includes young children and adults.
I myself cycle daily and understand that many cyclist are uncomfortable cycling on busy roads and thus resort to cycling on pavements.
I have been looking for Free classes for children/adults in my bourough of Ealing and i was horrified to see the lack of Schools providing schemes.
Cycling is a wonderful mode of transport and offers so many benifits to individuals, communities and the environment, but it is extrermly dangerouse, especially in urban areas.
Its great to see the Mayor encouraging cycling but could we please encourage and assist people to be safe cyclist.
If possible could you assist in keeping up to date information on the Mayors wedsite on available classes in London,as well as encouraging Schools and groups to provide such classes Free!,
